Westfield Library to host new patio ribbon cutting ceremony 6/28/23

On Wed. June 28 at 7:00 pm, the library will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new patio. Thanks to a Westfield Foundation grant.

(Jeff Bennett)

The library has installed an outdoor patio behind the library near Stanley Avenue, complete with pavers, a sitting wall, and new landscaping. The patio is furnished with tables and chairs so that residents can enjoy the patio for reading, studying, and enjoying the fresh air. An outdoor WiFi router has also been installed on the patio to provide high-speed wireless Internet access to those who wish to use laptops or other mobile devices. The patio will also be used for outdoor public programs, as weather permits. This project was made possible by a grant from The Westfield Foundation.
