Visit Museums for Free Thanks to Westfield Memorial Library
The Museum Pass program allows Westfield Memorial Library card holders and Friends of the Westfield Memorial Library to visit 19 area museums for free.

Interested in taking the whole family to a museum without breaking the bank? The 's museums pass program offers adults and children the opportunity to visit 19 area museums for free.
Discounts at gift shops and museum restaurants are also available with the passes though they vary by museum.
The rules, as listed on the Westfield Memorial Library's website, are as follows:

*Patrons must be in good standing with the library (no outstanding fines or fees).
*Passes are offered on a first come/first served basis. One museum pass is allowed per household.
*A family may take out a pass to the same museum one time in a three month period.
*Passes may be kept for four days. Patrons are asked to return the passes as soon as possible after they are used.
*It is recommended that the passes be returned in person and not in the drop box.
*Failure to return the pass will result in a fine of $10.00 per day (with a maximum fine of $200.00) Failure to return the pass container will result in a fine of $5.00.
*Patrons will be charged for a new museum pass in the event that it is lost.
*Each museum has its own rules concerning their pass. Please read all guidelines carefully.

American Folk Art Museum: The pass is good for 2 adults and all children under 18. 20% discount at the museum shop and cafe.
American Museum of Natural History: Admits: 2 Adults, 4 Children. Also covers: Free special exhibitions, discount for Space Show and IMAX, discount at museum shops and restaurant.
Children's Museum of Manhattan: Admits 4: 3 adults + 1 child or 2 adults + 2 children. Also covers: 10% store discount, American Children's Museum Reciprocal Network, 10% restaurant discount.
Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum: Admits; 1 adult per pass, children under 12 are admitted free. Also covers: 10% discount at The Shop and Cafe, up to 50% off public programs, and Design discounts.
The Frick Collection: Admits: Up to 2 Passes per household. The Frick does not allow children under the age of 10 in their museum. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Garden State Discovery Museum: Admits: 6 People. Also covers: 15% discount at museum store, American Children's Museum Reciprocal Network.
Grounds for Sculpture: Admits: 4 People (adult or children) admitted. Also covers: 10% Store Discount
Guggenheim Museum: Admits: 2 Adults/any child under 18. Additional adults may visit for $10. Also covers: Express admission line, 10% store discount, 10% restaurant discount.
Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum: Admits: 6 people, must be used in conjunction with your Westfield library card. No discount at the museum store.
The Skyscraper Museum: Admits: Pass is good for 2 adults/all children under 18. Also covers: 10% discount off the Gift Shop
Montclair Art Museum: Admits: 2 Adults, All Children in household.
Museum of Arts and Design: Admits: 2 adults, 4 children. Also covers: a 10% discount at the museum shop.
Museum of the City of New York: Admits: 2 adults, 4 children
MOMA: Admits Five. Also covers: Qualifies you to use the express Members' Line: Discount of 10% at Museum Store. Discounted parking at nearby lots. Free admission to the P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center in Long Island City.
Morris Museum: Admits: 2 adults and 3 children under 18. Also covers: 10% off in the museum shop for purchases over $10.00.
The New Jersey Children's Museum: admits 2 people.
The New-York Historical Society: The pass is good for 2 adults and all children under 18. Also covers: 10% discount at the museum shop and cafe.
The Stickely Museum at Craftsman Farms: Admits: 2 adults/2 children under 18.
Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum: Admits: Two adults and any number of children under 18.
Museum passes have been made possible by a generous donation by the Friends of the Westfield Memorial Library. All passes must be returned to the library.
