Westfield Mother and Daughter Open Pet Store
First 20 dogs at grand opening will get free treats for one year
A Westfield mother and daughter have teamed up to open their first business, Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming in Westfield.
Michelle and her mom Sherry Butrico are hosting their grand opening on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
“I always loved dogs,” said Michelle. “I wasn’t happy at my job and my mom and I took the plunge.”

Michelle was formerlly working as an assistant buyer for Bed, Bath and Beyond when she visited North Carolina. Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming is a franchise store. Michelle stopped in one while visiting down south and fell in love with the idea.
Growing up with a German Shepard and recently rescuing her poodle mix Sadie from the streets of Newark, Michelle knew her calling was to open up in Westfield.

Before moving to Westfield, Michelle and Sherry, would come every Sunday to town to have coffee and shop.
“I always loved Westfield and there was nothing like this around,” Michelle said.
Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming offers grooming and gourmet baked treats, which Michelle plans to start baking on premises.
All grain food, health care, toys and clothes are also available for dogs. Cat products are also on premise.
During the grand opening, the first 20 dogs to enter will receive free treats for a year. Gourmet dog treat samples and premium pet food samples will also be offered.
