Westfield Police To Host National Night Out On Aug. 1
The event will include music, food trucks, goat petting zoo, dunk tank, police fire and EMS equipment, bounce house and more.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield Police Department is once again hosting its National Night Out for 2023 on Tuesday, Aug. 1.
The event will be held in the Northside Train Lot from 6 to 9 p.m.
Guests can meet their town's first responders and enjoy music, food trucks, demos, a goat petting zoo, a dunk tank, a bounce house obstacle course, rock climbing wall, photo booth, free food and giveaways, face painting, and police, fire, EMS equipment.

National Night Out, a yearlong community building campaign, is designed to:
- heighten crime prevention awareness generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs
- strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
- send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back
This is a night for America to stand together and promote awareness, safety, and neighborhood unity. National Night Out showcases the vital importance of police-community partnership and citizen involvement in our fight for a safer nation. NNO invites neighborhoods nationwide to “give crime a going away party."
