Westfield Police Investigating Cottage Place Burglary

WESTFIELD, NJ - The Westfield Police are searching for the person or persons responsible for the burglary of a Cottage Place residence on May 16 and are looking for the public's help in catching the culprit.

Acording to Westfield Chief of Police Christopher Battiloro the burglary on Cottage Place happened Thursday afternoon

There was a burglary on Cottage Place on Thursday afternoon. It was reported at approximately 2:12 p.m. Battiloro told Patch that the thief or thieves forc ed entry into the home and they did so through the front door.

At this point in the investigation, it is undetermined what, if anything, was taken, Battiloro said.

"Unfortunately, I do not have anything else to report at this time," Battiloro said.

The police are investigating the matter and Battiloro noted if anyone has any information relating to this burglary, they are urged them to contact the Westfield Police Department at 908-789-4000.
