Westfield Police Say New BMW Worth $100K Stolen While Running
The car was running outside of a business on East North Avenue in early afternoon when it was swiped, police say.

WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield police said that on Friday afternoon, someone made off with a Westfield resident's 2021 BMW worth $100,000 while it was left running.
Police said that the car was in front of a business on the 300 block of East North Avenue around 1:06 p.m. It was left running and unlocked, with the key/fob inside.
Last year, the Westfield police gave updates on car thefts around town and arrests of teens from out of town. They encouraged residents to lock their vehicles. Read more here.
