Westfield Police Searching For Gas Station Robbers: Chief

WESTFIELD, NJ - The Westfield Police are searching for two men, one who appeared to be in possession of a firearm, who robbed a gas station in town Monday night.

According to Westfield Police Chief Christopher Battiloro, the Westfield Police Department was called at 9:37 p.m. and responded to a robbery at the Amoco Gas Station located at 431 Central Ave. Two suspects described as black males in their late teens or early 20's fled on foot, one of whom appeared to be in possession of a firearm, Battiloro said.

Battiloro said residents are urged to use caution and immediately report any suspicious persons or activity to the police. The Westfield Police Department continues to actively search the area and will provide updates as more information becomes available, Battiloro said.
