Westfield Recreation Summer Camps are Open for Registration

Registration is Open for all Summer Programs and Camps at the Westfield Recreation Department. There are programs and camps for everyone ages 3 thru teens.

For the elementary age crowd, our Enrichment Camps for kids include: Junior Scientist, Creative Kids, Groovy Girls and Tech-gineering (www.smartycatkids.com). For kids who love LEGOS, we have half day camps (run by Play-well) for ages 5 – 6 and 7 – 12; Adventures in STEM, STEM Explorations, Super Hero Engineering and STEM + Ninjaneering Masters. All with LEGO materials. More information at www.play-well.org. We also have our Fashion Camps for those who are into fashion & design. Participant 2 grade - teens, learn all about designing & constructing a garment. The week long camp ends with a fashion show and a walk down the runway. More info at www.fashionfirstworkshops.com.

We have two NEW camps being offered this summer. First is our Incrediflix Camp for ages 7-13 This camp revolves around the fun and excitement of Movie Making! Our camp offers a morning program “Action Movie Flix” and an afternoon of “Minecraft Movie Flix”. The programs can be put together for a full day program. Also NEW is our Young Rembrandts Drawing Art camps. Morning for ages 3-6 (1.50 hrs.) and afternoons for ages 7-14 (2.50 hrs.). Each camp explores a new weekly theme.

Kids can “Be Active” this summer in our Weekly Soccer camps with United Soccer Academy and USSI Multi-Sports classes for ages 2 – 6. Back by popular demand our USA and USSI instructors are also hosting week-long sports camps for ages 3 to 14. Our traditional week long Sport Camps, directed by area coaches, are great programs for any athlete, at any level. Register now for Fencing, Basketball, Flag Football, Field Hockey, Tennis (adults and kids), Volleyball, Wrestling and (NEW this year) Girls Rugby.
