Westfield Restaurant Closing After Less Than A Year Downtown

The site was listed for sale on Tuesday.

WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield location of "A Taco Affair" is closing after less than a year in business, the owners said on social media.

The team at the restaurant listed the space at 27 Elm St. for sale on Facebook Tuesday. A phone number has also been disconnected.

Management is also shutting doors at the Little Falls location, but will still serve customers out of their food truck and Denville restaurant.

While surviving through the coronavirus pandemic, owners said what came after was a struggle that could not be defeated, and cited food costs that have more than tripled.

In May 2025, A Taco Affair set up shop in the old site of "Feast Catering," which closed at the end of 2024 after 25 years in business.

The eatery serves non-traditional varieties of flavors and offerings for a Mexican restaurant that include sides, shareable dishes, desserts, and more.

Along with the Denville location and food truck, there is a restaurant still serving customers in Savannah, Georgia.
