Westfield Voters Face Upcoming Deadline For April School Board Election Registration

The deadline to register for the upcoming April 21 school board election in Westfield is Tuesday, March 31.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield residents planning to vote in the upcoming Annual School Board Election must complete their registration by the end of the month.

The Union County Board of Elections announced that Tuesday, March 31, serves as the final deadline to register for the April 21 school board election.

To help those who may have difficulty registering during standard business hours, the Board of Elections will provide extended evening availability until 9 p.m. on March 31.

The Annual School Board Election is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 21. Polls will be open for voters from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. at designated polling locations throughout the town.

For those who choose to vote by mail, the county has established secure drop box locations for ballot returns. In Westfield, a secure drop box is located at the Fraser Building, 300 North Avenue East.

Additional drop box sites are available at the Union County Administration Building, situated at the corner of Rahway Avenue and Elizabethtown Plaza in Elizabeth, and at the Union County Board of Elections office at 271 North Broad Street in Elizabeth. These secure boxes provide an alternative method for voters to return their ballots before the election.
