Westfield's Soccer Player Finished Third Season With Washington College

WESTFIELD, NJ — A Westfield soccer player and a Union Catholic graduate has finished his third season with the Washington College men’s soccer team.

Washington College junior back Chris Gingrich played in 13 matches for the Shoremen in 2016, starting 10 times.

Gingrich helped the Shoremen post two of their four shutouts this fall. In 32 career matches, he has earned 23 starts.

The Shoremen finished 10-7-2 overall and 5-2-2 in the Centennial Conference as they reached the Centennial Conference Tournament for the first time.
