The Westfield Conservation Center will open on Saturday, Jan. 7.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Getting rid of your Christmas tree? The Westfield Conservation Center will be open beginning on Saturday, Jan. 7.

The center is located at 1300 Lamberts Mill Road in Westfield and be open Saturdays in January on Jan. 7, 14 and 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Grass clippings
  • organic garden debris
  • twigs
  • brush
  • shrubbery
  • hedge clippings
  • logs (not to exceed 2 feet in length)
  • Christmas trees (with lights and decorations removed)
  • leaves
