Women's March on Westfield This Saturday

Westfield will join the growing number of sister marches that will coincide with the Women's March on Washington this Saturday.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Can't make it to Washington, D.C. on Saturday? Join the march in Westfield. It is among the many "sister marches" that will coincide with the Women's March on Washington.

Marchers will gather at 11 a.m. in front of the Lord & Taylor at 609 W. North Ave. in Westfield. Westfield is among the seven marches being held across New Jersey.

The Women's March on Washington, is a grassroots organization, where women will march to the White House on President Donald Trump's first full-day in office to show their support on women's rights and issues.

"We stand together in solidarity with our partners and children for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families - recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country," accoridng to the Women's March on Washington mission statement.
