Wonder To Host Grand Opening Of New Physical Location In Westfield

WESTFIELD, NJ — The food delivery startup Wonder has shifted away from its"mobile restaurant" model and is now holding a grand opening for its new physical location at 210 S Ave Win Westfield.

The Grand Opening celebration will be held on Thursday, June 1, and include samples of Tejas Barbecue, sweet treats, raffles, giveaways and more.

The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 4 to 8:30 p.m.

The Westfield location is among 10 stationary kitchens Wonder is planning to open in 2023 in Union, Essex and Bergen counties, as well as New York City and Westchester County.

The new delivery, pickup and dine-in location offers the same updated model that Wonder has been operating at its new location on the Upper West Side of Manhattan (2030 Broadway) since the beginning of the year.

These new physical locations are able to serve 12-plus restaurants, all out of one kitchen, utilizing the same technology and equipment that Wonder's mobile restaurants relied on, according to Wonder.

"Customers can expect even faster delivery times, more consistent order accuracy and hotter food through these new offerings - and the best part is that you'll now be able to order from multiple restaurants in a single order. Meaning no more fighting over what's for dinner," according to Wonder.
