UPDATE: Young Westfield Man Dies In Car Crash In Upstate New York
Police said the driver in a crash that killed a young Westfield man and Massachusetts woman was on the wrong side of the highway.
WESTFIELD, NJ — New York State Police said on Sunday that Matthew G. Huff, 27, of Westfield, N.J. and another passenger in the same car were killed in an automobile accident Saturday night about 20 miles north of Lake George.
A vehicle driven by a New York State man, 66, was heading north in the southbound lane of a highway and crashed into their vehicle head-on, the state police said.

"We do believe alcohol was a factor in the crash," said State Trooper Kerra Burns on Tuesday. A report in the Glens Falls Post Star on Sunday said that the 65-year-old driver will be charged with vehicular homicide and other charges, and is in custody at a hospital.
Burns said any charges are pending, and an update will be released at some point in the future.

Besides Huff, the second victim was Kerry O'Reilly, 31, of Dorchester, Mass. A third person in the car with the pair — Lauren Huff, 30, of Boston — was airlifted to the University of Vermont Medical Center, police said.
Burns said that the most recent report she got about Lauren Huff over the weekend was that she was in stable condition.
