2 Stores In The Oranges Sell Winning Powerball Tickets In 1 Day
Stores in Orange and West Orange sold winning lottery tickets for a recent Powerball drawing. Each is worth a cool $50,000.
ORANGES, NJ — Stores in Orange and West Orange each sold winning Powerball lottery tickets for the drawing on Saturday, Aug. 21. Each is worth $50,000.
According to New Jersey Lottery officials, two tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball, drawing winning $50,000 third-tier prizes.
The tickets were sold at the following locations:

- Scotland Arms Liquors, 711-713 Scotland Road, Orange
- Carousel Convenience Store, 96 Harrison Avenue, West Orange
The winning numbers were: 16, 28, 36, 39, and 59. The Red Power Ball number was 04. The Multiplier number was 02.
About 36,700 players in New Jersey took part in the Aug. 21 drawing, taking home an estimated $184,432 in prizes, officials said.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $293,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held Aug. 23 at 10:59 p.m.
