2023 Holiday Events In West Orange: Tree Lighting, Santa Visits

WEST ORANGE, NJ — The ho-ho-holidays are almost here in West Orange, and there will be plenty of chances to celebrate in town.

Need to say hi to Santa? He’ll be coming to West Orange on a fire truck to spread joy and cheer at several schools on Sunday, Nov. 26. The list includes Redwood, Kelly, Mt. Pleasant, St. Cloud, Gregory, Hazel and Washington (see the schedule here).

The township’s annual tree lighting ceremony will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Town Hall, 66 Main Street. The event will also include live performances, a train ride, a petting zoo and another chance to meet Santa Claus – this time with photo opportunities.
