$3.5M Lottery Win In West Orange Was Among Largest In NJ For 2023

WEST ORANGE, NJ — It was a lucky year for the lottery in West Orange.

New Jersey Lottery officials recently took a look back at 2023, naming the top five prizes that were captured in state games last year (excluding Powerball).

A ticket sold in West Orange was the fourth largest win in New Jersey. The $3.5 million Cash4Life ticket split a “$1,000 a Day for Life” grand prize for the April 18 drawing. Two other significant lottery wins took place in West Orange last year.

A few months later, a convenience store in West Orange sold a winning Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $10,000.
