WEST ORANGE, NJ — A supermarket in West Orange sold a Powerball lottery ticket worth $50,000 for the drawing on Wednesday, Aug. 31, officials said.
The ticket – which matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball – was sold at ShopRite Essex Green on Prospect Avenue in West Orange, according to the New Jersey Lottery.
The winning numbers for the Wednesday, August 31, drawing were: 07, 08, 19, 24, and 28. The Red Power Ball number was 01. The Power Play was 2X.
