Future Business Leaders of America club members at West Orange High School attended the State Leadership Conference in Atlantic City from March 9 to March 11, with three students placing as top ten finalists.
Students from across the state attended the conference, showcasing their business skills and leadership potential. Three West Orange students: Jamal Adedokun (Real Estate), Noelle Blanchett (Project Management), and Lucas Norfleet (Retail Management) placed as top ten finalists.
Other participants included Kelvin Agard (Retail Management), Raquel Blanchette (Graphic Design), Hannah Bravo (Sales Presentation), Hannah Cabanban (Networking Infrastructure), Isabella Chen (Sales Presentation), David Dedy (Computer Problem Solving), Connor Der (Retail Management), Erin Feeney (Journalism), Kailyn Lam (Organizational Leadership), Beckett Marcoux-Tully (Retail Management), Moaz Mohamed (Accounting), Joshua Montague (Public Administration and Management), Sofia Morillo (Organizational Leadership), Mariem Ngom (Healthcare Administration), Nikhil Oberoi (Introduction to Business Presentation), Nidhi Patel (Sales Presentation), Julien Schwartz (Accounting).
In addition to the competition, students were able to attend leadership workshops, network with industry professionals, and participate in professional development sessions.
"Our chapter participated in 13 individual and team competitions. Congratulations to all our participants," said club advisor Anne Hanson.
