West Orange Project Graduation Gets $1K Boost From Lions Club

Project Graduation is a national alcohol-free initiative for seniors following their high school graduation.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — The Lions Club of West Orange recently presented a $1,000 check to help pay for West Orange High School's Project Graduation.

Project Graduation is a national alcohol-free initiative for seniors following their high school graduation. Students pay $20 towards the cost and the remainder is subsidized by the Project Graduation committee and organizations like the Lions Club.

This year, West Orange graduates headed to Funplex in East Hanover following their graduation ceremony on June 18.

Each year, the Lions Club holds their annual Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser at WOHS. The club has contributed to Project Graduation for several years.
