WEST ORANGE, NJ — A public reading of the Declaration of Independence will take place in West Orange on Wednesday, July 8.
The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Thomas Edison National Historical Park, 211 Main Street. The park will be one of many around the nation participating in a simultaneous reading.
The Thomas Edison National Historical Park Laboratory Complex will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on July 8. Park fees apply.
This event is part of the ongoing America 250 and REV250NJ commemorations. West Orange is a designated REV250NJ community.
