Car Hits Pedestrian Near McDonald’s In West Orange; Police Investigation Continues

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries, police said.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange police continue to investigate a crash that injured a pedestrian last weekend.

According to the West Orange Police Department, a car hit a pedestrian at 12:35 p.m. on Saturday in front of the McDonald's restaurant on Northfield Avenue.

Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to University Hospital in Newark to be treated for serious injuries. No update was available about their condition, police told Patch on Wednesday.

The West Orange police traffic bureau is investigating the crash, authorities said.
