West Orange Vehicle Crimes: Police Chase, Car Theft, Burglary

WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange police have released details about several car-related crimes that were recently reported in the township.

Here's what happened, according to the West Orange Police Department:

Oct. 6 – An Ashwood Terrace resident's 2009 Infiniti G3S was stolen while parked curbside in front of their residence, authorities said.

Oct. 11 – Officers responded to High Street after getting a report about a stolen 2017 Chevrolet Camaro. Police located the vehicle in the area of Watson Avenue and Chestnut Street and tried to pull the driver over, but they kept going – setting off a police pursuit. The vehicle was last seen in the area of Scotland Road in the City of Orange, authorities said.

Oct. 11 – A 2026 Ford Mustang was burglarized while parked at a Winding Way residence, authorities said.
