West Orange PAL Offers Scholarships

PAL FINISHES WINTER CONDITIONING CLINICS

The West Orange PAL just concluded their annual 8 week  free conditioning clinics at Washington Elementary School. 25-40 kids, ages 5 - 13, worked hard on conditioning drills, followed by a fun and interactive sports activity, like Basketball, Baseball ,Kickball, and Dodgeball instruction. Parents and kids alike really enjoyed the clinic, and PAL hopes to present it to community again next year.  

BASEBALL AND KICKBALL SIGNUPS  

Baseball and Kickball signups are underway and families can signup online at www.wopal.org.  Registration will also be held at the PAL building, 28 Prospect Place, on Wednesday,March 7, from 6:30pm - 8:00pm or on Saturday March 10, from 10:00am - 1:00pm. The cost is $25.00 for Kickball and $75.00 for Baseball.  

WEST ORANGE PAL OFFERS SCHOLARSHIP  

For the first time, The West Orange PAL will offer a $200.00 scholarship to graduating seniors. On April 1, 2012, eligibility information will be posted on the Pal website.  The recipient will be chosen by the Board of Directors of the West Orange Police Athletic League. No Active Board Members children are eligible for this award.
