Art Gallery Event In West Orange Will Honor Black History

WEST ORANGE, NJ — A trio of cannabis businesses are teaming up to sponsor an “interactive art gallery” in West Orange in tribute to Black History Month.

In addition to paying tribute to several “local heroes,” the free community event will include education, food, prizes and vendors. It will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 2 at the Toby Katz Community Center, 650 Pleasant Valley Way.

Sponsors include The Library, Ascend, and AYR Wellness. The event is presented by The Illuminare Foundation.
