West Orange Wind Ensemble Performs at Prestigious Event
Ensemble performed at the New Jersey State Concert Band Gala Concert on Sunday for the seventh straight year.
For the seventh year in a row the award winning West Orange High School Wind Ensemble was chosen to perform at the New Jersey State Concert Band Gala Concert, Sunday, May 4th, at the Douglas Campus of Rutgers University, Nicholas Music Center.
Recognized as an ‘Outstanding High School Music Program,’ the West Orange High School Wind Ensemble was selected to perform this year based upon the results of their top performance at the North Jersey School Music Association (NJSMA) Concert Band Festival held in March of 2014.
"I am extremely proud of the Wind Ensemble members. They have worked hard all year and have gone above and beyond my expectations this year," said Director of Bands Lewis C. Kelly.
