Back-To-School Photos In West Orange: Smiles, Excitement For Students

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Classrooms and hallways were decorated, floors were shining, and excitement was in the air as faculty and staff welcomed back students in the West Orange Public School District last week.

Despite an early dismissal due to the sweltering heat, West Orange public schools opened on Sept. 6 as thousands of students returned after a long summer vacation. Related: First Day Of School In West Orange (See Other Important Dates For 2023-2024)

Newly-appointed Superintendent of Schools Hayden Moore made stops around the district, stopping to say hello to students and take photos with staff.
