Black History Month Event In West Orange: ‘Celebrating Invention’
The local event will feature an acclaimed game designer and toy inventor, as well as the founder of the Black Inventors Hall of Fame.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — A Black History Month event featuring an acclaimed game designer and toy inventor will take place in the community room of the West Orange Public Library, 10 Rooney Circle, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22.
David Vonner and Adrienne Smith will be appearing at the local event, which will also include keynote speaker James Howard, inventor, professor and founder of the Black Inventors Hall of Fame.
The West Orange African Heritage Organization and the West Orange Public Library are partnering to hold the event.
