Cast Your Vote For The WOPL Teen Anime Art Contest
Come check out the artwork by local teens and vote for your favorite at West Orange Public Library.
Some of the most talented local teen artists will have their work displayed this March as part of the West Orange Public Library’s Teen Anime Art Contest, and anyone can vote for their favorite.
The pieces are on display on the bulletin board next to the circulation desk and voting is as easy as showing up, providing your name, and which piece you wish to vote for.
There were 10 entries for the contest, from students as young as sixth grade through seniors in high school. All works are original art—no characters from published manga, anime or comics were allowed. Many entrants worked throughout the past few months to sketch, color, create, and perfect their works before submitting them.

The winner and runner-up will be announced at the March 27 meeting of the Anime Club, at 7:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded and the top two will remain on display in the library in April.
Stop by the library to cast your vote and support these young artists!
