Kaplan SAT/ACT Information Session – Wed, Feb 6 from 7 to 8 p.m.
Parents and students can learn about the similarities and differences between the ACT and SAT, as well as how colleges view each when making admissions decisions. Hosted by Kaplan. Registration available online.

Read N’ Chat – Wed, Feb 13 from 7:30 to 8:15 p.m. (6th to 8th Grade)
This month’s book is Chains: Seeds of America by Laurie Halse Anderson. This National Book Award Finalist and Scott O’Dell Award Winning historical novel is set during the American Revolution. The story centers on thirteen-year-old Isabel, a slave struggling for freedom. Copies of the book are available at the circulation desk and registration is required online or by calling 973-736-0198, ext. 16.
Teen Game Night – Wed, Feb 20 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. (6th to 12th Grade)
Like playing Nintendo Wii? Chess? Boggle? Scrabble? Want to hang out with other gamers or bring some friends to play a board game? Game night is a great way to socialize, play some Super Smash Bros or Mario Kart, and have a good time on a Wednesday night. Bring your own board games, Nintendo DS, or Playstation Vita.
Anime Club – Wed, Feb 27 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. (6th to 12th Grade)
Anime club is ideal not only for fans of manga and anime but also fans of American comics who are interested in learning about Japanese comics. If you’re an artist yourself, the February meeting of the Anime Club is the due date for our Anime Art Contest.
Coming in March; An open mic for teens from grades 6 through 12, where musicians can perform their favorite songs, show off their own original work, or jam with their friends. Open mic will be held on Monday, March 4 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. To sign-up, head to the West Orange Public Library website or show up that day and get on the list.
