Is That Outfit Losing You Business? What About Those Earrings?

Come talk with someone who has helped dress models and supervised a team of dressers at Fashion Week in NYC for BB Backstage.

You are sending messages out to people right when you hit their eyesight, before you actually greet them or say a word. If you are conducting business, what you say non-verbally is vital to your business success and, thus, your livelihood.

We all set goals of where we want to be in our career. Regardless if we are self-employed or in the corporate world, what we wear plays a big role in whether we will achieve those goals.

If you're curious about what you are saying or how to say what you really want to, attend the B.I.G. (Believe. Inspire. Grow.) women's group meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m., at Luna Stage, in West Orange. This meeting is co-sponsored by MyLink.

Guest speaker Kerry Cordero, a personal stylist and owner of The First Look Image Consulting, has worked at Fashion Week in New York City for BB Backstage to help dress the models and supervise a team of dressers. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and is certified with the International Association for Image Consultants known as the AICI. She was president of the New York Tri-State Chapter of the AICI in 2008-2009.

Kerry will teach fashion tips for women from all walks of life, starting from who YOU are and what YOU want to project. There will be 3 B.I.G. members volunteering to have their style assessed based on the image they want to project, i.e. authoritative versus approachability, etc. Someone will also walk away with a complimentary gift pouch from Mary Kay.

Whether you're job hunting, looking to close a deal, or just want to double-check your wardrobe, this is the time and place. Don't miss out on this opportunity to believe, inspire and grow.
