Meet the Musician - Mozart!
Brilliant pianist Dennis Kobray comes to West Orange Library this Sunday, May 19 at 2pm to perform the music of composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Join us at West Orange Library this Sunday, May 19 at 2pm as brilliant pianist Dennis Kobray becomes Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, performs his music, and describes his tragic and colorful life. This child prodigy, prolific composer and embodiment of the Classical era was never fully appreciated during his own lifetime. The delightful and charming emodies of Mozart are revealed in excerpts of his symphonies, operas, piano concertos, chamber music and piano solos. His music remains among the most cherished possessions of our time.
Dennis Kobray began his study of piano at the age of five and graduated from Brooklyn College with a double major of music and history. He has a graduate degree from Southern Methodist University and has appeared on NBC's Today Show, National Public Radio, and with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, DC. Mr. Kobray is a skilled actor and gifted musician who enjoys the challenge and opportunity of aquainting audiences of all ages with the real life stories of some of history's greatest musicians.
