Rotary Club of West Orange Holds Food Drive Sept. 24

Food Drive will be at West Orange ShopRite

Once again, the West Orange Rotary Club will be holding one of its many food collection drives at ShopRite in West Orange on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

All money and food collected that day will be donated to the Trinity Church Food Kitchen off of Main Street in West Orange.  The pantry's shelves are close to empty and especially with the poor economy and high unemployment, it is essential that this food drive be significant and successful.

Please do your shopping on Sept. 24 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and purchase extra non-perishables to be donated. West Orange Rotarians will be present to collect your donations of food and cash. Some suggestions of non-perishable items include, but are not limited to: pastas, rice, cereals, peanut butter, tuna, personal hygeine products, kosher products, bottled juices, condiments, beans canned and dried, canned vegetables, pancake mix and syrup.
