Sign-ups Open For Chess Tournament Vs. Livingston
A chess tournament between West Orange and Livingston will be held at the Livingston Public Library on Tuesday, July 23.

Does your child play chess? Is she or he between 3rd and 5th grade? If so, it’s not too late to join the West Orange Library Chess Club, which will travel to the Livingston Public Library on Tuesday, July 23 to square off in a chess tournament from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Although the Chess Club will not meet again until the fall, players who have never attended are still welcome to represent West Orange in the tournament. Players who have attended, of course, are also urged to sign-up for the event.
This will be a fun, friendly competition between neighboring communities—a great chance to test your skills, learn more about chess, meet new people, and have a good time.
