WOPL To Hold Another Teen Open Mic
After a fun open mic in March, the West Orange Public Library will hold another open mic for teens in April.

On Monday, March 4, the West Orange Public Library hosted its first Teen Open Mic of the year, and a lot of talented teens came out to share their art.
The performers who stepped up to the mic were eclectic; we saw rappers and DJs, heard poetry, classical music, folk and rock as well as an impromptu rap freestyle to end the night.
If you're a teen musician or poet who missed March’s open mic, there is plenty of time to prepare for the next--we’ll be hosting another, open to grades 6 through 12, on Monday, April 1 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Registration for the event is available online. We’ll provide the P.A. and the mics, you bring your instruments and talent. Drums should be limited to hand-drums like bongos, djembes or tambourines. We'll be celebrating National Poetry Month at this open mic, so poets, bring your best work and share your talents!
All ages welcome to attend.
