The Szabo Chamber Music Society is pleased to announce its final concert of the season, "Best of Beethoven," on Saturday, May 16th, at 8:00 PM. The performance will take place at Union Congregational Church, located at 176 Cooper Avenue, Montclair NJ.
The program will include Beethoven's early chamber works such as The Piano Trio in C Minor and Sonata for Piano and Violin in C Minor, which with its bold, turbulent and dramatic musical voice is heralding Beethoven’s 5th symphony, highlight of the “Storm and Stress” classical era movement. These two highly intense works will be contrasted with the poetic and beautiful Sonata for Piano and Cello in C Major. Renowned soloists will include Cathy Yang, violin, Eunae Jin, cello and Dr. Sandor Szabo, piano. This exciting concert is not to be missed!
Tickets are $25, adults, $20 seniors and $5 students. Donations gratefully accepted and are tax deductible.
