Local Resident Invites Community to Join "Race to Cure Sarcoma" at South Mountain Reservation

Hi West Orange neighbors!
As a local resident and someone who received a sarcoma diagnosis last April, this cause is deeply personal to me. That is why I am so proud to serve as a volunteer committee member for the Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA) as we prepare for our upcoming Race to Cure Sarcoma New Jersey.
On Sunday, October 11, 2026, we are bringing the community together right in our backyard at the South Mountain Reservation (Clipper Pavilion) for a 5K run/walk to raise crucial awareness and research funds for rare cancers.
Because rare cancers like sarcomas often get overlooked and patients frequently face delayed detection or limited treatment options, community support means everything. Whether you want to form a team, join mine ("Ness Deletes Angiosarcoma"), walk alongside us, or simply help spread the word, your presence makes a massive difference for local patients and families.
