Cancer Hope Network (CHN) held its 29th Annual Golf Classic & Pickleball Tournament on June 10th at Crestmont Country Club in West Orange, NJ.

More than 100 people gathered on the green and courts for the annual gathering, which for the first time included pickleball. The event helps the Chester, NJ-based non-profit continue to provide high-quality, customized, one-on-one peer mentorship support to cancer patients and caregivers nationwide, and focuses on awareness building for the non-clinical challenges that arise for these individuals.

Among the participants were several local volunteers from Cancer Hope Network’s community of nearly 500 Peer Mentor Volunteers from across the country. Jeremy Kaye, Audit and Assurance Senior Manager at Deloitte, received the prestigious Michael Kzirian Flame of Courage Award, which is presented annually to a person or group who has made a difference in the lives of people impacted by cancer. An AYA cancer survivor and CHN Peer Mentor Volunteer, Jeremy is the founding Chairperson of the Cancer Hope Network Young Professionals Advisory Committee and a passionate advocate for peer mentorship support.
