Students at Pleasantdale Elementary School participated in Career Day Wednesday morning.
The students talked to West Orange Patch's Local Editor Karen Yi.
The students were dressed up as the people they wanted to be when they grew up — lawyers, tennis players, models and even as a president.
They took turns interviewing each other, taking notes, snapping photos, filming and putting together their first news story.
Students in Mrs. Orange's fourth grade classroom and Mrs. Gray's second grade classroom participated in creating the story.
Other students met with different professionals including Mayor Robert Parisi and Assemblyman John McKeon.
