CC Minton Named President: Stevenson & Moses Boxing For Life
Stevenson & Moses Boxing for Life Corp. announced the appointment of West Orange resident, CC Minton, as president.

Stevenson & Moses Boxing for Life Corp. has announced the appointment of West Orange resident, CC Minton, as president of the company. Minton joined the Board of Directors in Sept. 2018 and has led the company, as president, since her appointment in Nov, 2018. Minton is a President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition Leadership Award recipient, with and over 15 years of experience in the sports and fitness and non-profit industry.

Stevenson & Moses Boxing for Life Corp. is the vision of Willie and Robyn Moses, along with their grandson, 2016 Olympic Silver Medalist in Boxing Shakur Stevenson. The organization is committed to using boxing as a tool to teach camaraderie among peers in the community. It teaches Olympic-style boxing to open the possibility of being a contender for the Olympics for boxing. Stevenson & Moses provides training for athletes to build endurance and perseverance for the sport of their choice. The goal of Stevenson & Moses is to offer boxing as a deterrent to gun violence by building character and responsibility for the community in which participants live. Stevenson & Moses Boxing for Life prides itself on being a viable force in the community.
Minton was the Health and Lifestyle Editor at Harlem World Magazine from 2014, until she left the company in March, 2016. During her time at Harlem World, she created the organization's Health and Fitness Challenge, which increased the company’s visibility and impacts on the community.

As curator of Up Close with CC Minton, interviews included Olympians, celebrity chefs, and a visual journey inside of former First Lady Michelle Obama’s White House Kids’ State Dinner. In 2014, Minton tackled big business as a New York/New Jersey Super Bowl XLVIII corporate business connect partner at the Official VIP Tailgate Party at MetLife Stadium.
Minton was a member of the West Orange Board of Education Wellness Council, from 2011 – 2016. As a member of the Junior League of Montclair-Newark, Inc., she served as Vice President of Communications, Teen Health & Nutrition Initiative Chairperson, 95th Anniversary Benefit Co-Chair, House Tour & Boutique Fundraiser Co-Chair starting, in 2007. Minton is currently a member of the Board of Governance with the organization.
From 2007 – 2012, Minton worked with Walkathon Services, Inc. as a fundraising consultant and fitness instructor, for five years, with Curves International.
