CollecTeens.com is a charitable organization started by a few students who attend West Orange High School, with the goal of helping those in need through collection drives and awareness campaigns.
“When we heard that the children at this school needed things like clothes, bookbags, toys and books, we just knew we had to help,” says Dylan Schatell, founder and president of CollecTeens.
This isn’t the first collection drive CollecTeens has run, recently, they held a collection drive for the homeless in NJ, last year they held a drive for the people of Ukraine, and in 2021, they held a drive for the Afghan refugees in NJ.
