Dharma In West Orange: Buddhist Retreat Center Moves To Town

WEST ORANGE, NJ — A Buddhist retreat center is celebrating its move to West Orange with a public “meet and greet” event on Saturday, Jan. 25.

The meet and greet will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the new home of Empty Cloud, 29 Ridgeway Avenue in West Orange. Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. Donations are welcome. (Learn more about this local event)

Organizers wrote about the move to Essex County on a recent blog post:

“After three full years of offering free meditation retreats at the Rockaway Summer House in New York City, thanks to your kind donations we have moved to this wonderful location where we can keep doing what we know how to do best – practice the Dharma – and offer it to even more living beings!”

“It's cold outside but our hearts are warm with gratitude for the generosity of thousands of people who have come together to make this possible,” organizers stated.
