Dozens Gather on Municipal Steps for Tea Party Rally
Event spearheaded by Montclair resident
The Mad Hatter and White Rabbit skipped this Tea Party. Only those angry with high taxes and lack of Washington's response found themselves anything but late Sunday afternoon to a "Rally for Freedom" in West Orange.
Spearheaded by Domenic Cotter, of Montclair, and president of Citizens for Freedom, the rally drew about 75 people to the township's municipal building steps to protest current government practices.
Cotter said he chose West Orange for the rally location because of the township's most recent passage of a zero percent municipal tax increase.
