East Orange To Hold ‘Leap Into Spring’ Celebration, Easter Events

Spring has sprung and Mayor Ted R. Green, the East Orange City Council and the Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs are hosting plenty of family-friendly events to celebrate the season.

Sunday, April 2 • 1pm-3pm at Columbian Park

Easter Basket Giveaway featuring grab n’ go gift baskets filled with plenty of treats!

Sponsored by Fifth Ward Councilmembers Alicia Holman and Mustafa Brent in partnership with the Fifth Ward County Committee and Clinton Memorial AME Church Outreach Ministry.

Thursday, April 6 • 4pm-6pm at Rowley Park

Easter Party featuring photos with Mr. Bunny, an egg hunt, face painting, snacks, Easter crafts and more!

Sponsored by Mayor Ted R. Green, Second Ward Councilmembers Christopher Awe and Brittany Claybrooks in partnership with Save the Kids Village.

Saturday, April 8 • 12pm-4pm at Elmwood Park

“Leap Into Spring” Celebration featuring a massive egg hunt, train rides, bouncy houses, rock climbing, music, food, games, bicycle and gift card giveaways, raffle prizes and more!
