Essex County Store Sells $1 Million Powerball Lottery Ticket: See Lucky Numbers

A store in Essex County sold a Powerball ticket worth a cool $1 million.

THE ORANGES, NJ — A store in Essex County sold a winning Powerball ticket worth a cool $1 million for the drawing on Monday, lottery officials say.

According to the New Jersey Lottery, the ticket was sold at Hari Mini Store on Thomas Boulevard in East Orange. It matched all five white balls – missing only the Power Ball – and captured a $1 million prize.

The winning numbers for the Jan. 19 drawing were: 05, 28, 34, 37, and 55. The Power Ball was 17, and the multiplier was 03.

No player won the jackpot, which is $209 million for Wednesday’s drawing.

Meanwhile, a store in Burlington County sold a ticket worth $250,000 in the Double Play drawing.

The Double Play drawing is a separate event for players who opted in for the Double Play feature on their Powerball tickets. Hartford Market on Hartford Road in Delran sold the $250,000 winner.

The Double Play drawing’s numbers were 02, 09, 25, 26 and 63; the Double Play ball was 08.

No player won the top prize, which is $10 million.
