Elderly Man Killed In West Orange Home Fire: Authorities
A fatal structure fire claimed the life of a West Orange resident, authorities say.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — A fatal structure fire claimed the life of a West Orange resident on Tuesday morning, authorities say.
According to a township spokesperson, the fire took place at 30 Park Drive South.
Firefighters and police encountered heavy flames and smoke after entering the residence, but managed to remove a male victim from the home. He was taken to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston and pronounced deceased at 11:36 a.m.
