Essex County Man Reported Missing; Last Seen Near Penn Station, Police Say

Police say that James Bell, 55, was last seen near Newark Penn Station.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Police are asking for the public’s help locating a 55-year-old Essex County resident reported missing on Monday.

James Bell, 55, of Newark, was reported missing on Monday, May 22, according to a Thursday news alert from the Newark Department of Public Safety.

“Mr. Bell weighs approximately 160 lbs., is 6’1” tall, has gray hair and a tattoo that says ‘Aysa 8-28-85’ on his right arm. He was last seen near Newark Pennsylvania Station wearing jeans… While police are actively searching for Mr. Bell, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and returning him to his family.”
