Essex County Nonprofit To Host Military Veterans’ Health Fair: Sept. 10
The free event is open to all New Jersey military veterans and their family members.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — FAMILYConnections, a nonprofit counseling and family service agency serving Essex and surrounding counties, will host a “Veterans Community Health Fair” on Saturday Sept. 10. The event is open to all New Jersey military veterans and their family members. No appointments are required.
According to a news release, the fair will take place at FAMILYConnections’ main office at 395 South Center Street in Orange from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Event participants include the Veterans Total Care Initiative, Wounded Warrior Project, Vets 4 Warriors, NJ Vets2Vets, Active Heroes and Rutgers NJ Medical School.
The event will include free glucose screenings, blood pressure readings and basic medical consultations. To learn more call (866) 838-7654.
