Essex County Rescuers Offer Dog, Cat Adoptions For 'Clear The Shelters' Event
See which Essex County shelters will have adoptions available for "Clear the Shelters" on Aug. 19.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Have you been considering adding a pet to your family? Saturday, Aug. 19 is the 3rd annual "Clear The Shelters Day," and is the perfect time to expand your family.
The nationwide Clear the Shelters initiative seeks to help families find and adopt homeless pets. Since 2015, Clear the Shelters has resulted in more than 70,000 pet adoptions nationwide.
